Shooting the Moon

For those of you that have DSLR's, here are some settings I am trying out right now for taking pictures of the moon.

I am using a Canon Rebel XS with a 300mm lens. Always remember to use a tripod for action, closeup, and night photography. Try placing your camera in manual mode, setting you shutter speed to 1/80, setting your aperture to f.10, turn off the flash, and set your white balance to daylight (this is if you are using jpg file mode, RAW users will not worry so much about this). If possible, you can also get better results using a remote shutter release, to avoid blurry pictures.

If you try it out, post the pic.
